Join us as we walk in silence for peace around the White House for a silent reflective
walk for peace—in our hearts, in Washington, DC, in Iraq, and in the world In this
time of war, conflict and division, we say to our nation’s leaders that war is not
the answer. The way to peace is through cultivating peace in our hearts, in our actions,
and in the world.
We start with a brief welcome and readings brought by participants. Then we walk in
silence for about an hour around the White House. We close with a short meditation
and reflection. No signs or banners are needed.
Sponsored by the Washington Buddhist Peace Fellowship.
